Show Me the Money

Participate During: February 20, 2027, Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center

Tradition Challenge: Attend Show Me the Money and walk away with real answers to your biggest money questions.

Financial Confidence, Free of Charge
Big financial decisions, buying a home, investing, building a budget, are often the ones students put off the longest, usually out of fear rather than lack of interest. Show Me the Money exists to change that. This free seminar brings together BYU faculty and local finance professionals to break down real financial principles: budgeting, investing, home purchasing, and more, in plain language you can actually use.

It's been a Student Alumni tradition for years for a reason: you don't need a finance degree to leave this seminar with a clearer plan for your future. It's popular enough that recent grads often come back to attend too, proof that these are questions worth answering before you need them, not after.

How To Participate:
  • Watch for Show Me the Money announcements each winter semester
  • Register online at studentalumni.byu.edu/show-me-the-money before the seminar
  • Attend the sessions and take notes, your future self will thank you
  • Submit your participation on Traditions Keeper to complete the challenge, and consider sharing a photo with us!
