A Universe on the Fourth Floor
Located on the top floor of the Eyring Science Center, the Royden G. Derrick Planetarium is one of BYU's most underrated hangout spots. Monday and Friday nights have a rotating lineup of shows, exploring everything from black holes to the current night sky. When the weather cooperates, the show ends with the rooftop telescope opening up for real stargazing.
Want something free? The BYU Astronomical Society hosts weekly watch parties and stargazing nights, open to everyone. Either way, it's one of the most peaceful, awe-inspiring study breaks on campus.

- Grab a ticket ($2–5) or show up to a free club event
- Watch the show and stick around for the telescope if the sky's clear
- Submit your participation on Traditions Keeper to complete the challenge and consider sharing a photo with us!
