Honor Week

Participate During: A week during Fall semester (dates vary by year)

Tradition Challenge: Stop by a Honor Week booth, grab a cookie, and reflect on what the Honor Code means to you.

Reflect and Recommit
Honor Week gives the BYU community a chance to pause and reflect on the Honor Code and its role in shaping disciples of Jesus Christ. Booths pop up at a different campus quad each day, offering cookies, conversation prompts from the Honor Code Advisory Council, and (on the first day) a free T-shirt at Brigham Square.

It's a simple way to revisit a commitment every BYU student and employee makes: to pursue an education and life in harmony with the principles of the gospel. Honor Week is a reminder of that commitment, why it matters, and what BYU strives to be.

How To Participate:
  • Check honorcode.byu.edu for the week's booth locations and daily schedule
  • Stop by a booth, grab a cookie, and engage in a conversation about the Honor Code
  • Grab a T-shirt on the kickoff day at Brigham Square, while supplies last
  • Submit your participation on Traditions Keeper to complete the challenge and consider sharing a photo with us!
