Battle of the Bands

Tradition Challenge: Show up to Battle of the Bands and cheer on BYU's best student musicians.

Battle of the Bands brings BYU's best student talent to the Marriott Center stage for a night of live music and school spirit. Bands compete in front of a packed arena, all vying for the title of BYU's top band.
The night kicks off with a performance from last year's winner before the newest lineup takes the stage. One recent year had over 1,000 tickets sold, a crowd so loud the floor shook, and the whole arena waving their phone flashlights together as the winner was announced. Hosted by BYUSA, the night reflects their mission to bring students together through uplifting, inclusive experiences, and it shows that BYU's music scene is alive and thriving.

How To Participate:
- Get your tickets at eventtickets.byu.edu (general admission or floor seating available)
- Arrive by 6:30P.M., when doors open, show starts at 7:00P.M.
- Cheer on the bands and vote for your favorite
- Submit your participation on Traditions Keeper to complete the challenge and consider sharing a photo with us!
