Attend a Career Fair

Participate During: Fall and Winter Semester (general fairs), with several college-specific fairs throughout the year

Tradition Challenge: Attend a BYU career fair and meet potential employers.

Your Future, One Conversation at a Time
Twice a year, hundreds of employers gather at BYU career fairs, held in the WSC. Recruiters from major companies, nonprofits, and grad schools all come specifically to meet students like you. Several colleges also host their own fairs (Engineering, Computing, Life Sciences, and more), so there's likely one for your field no matter what you're studying.

As a university, BYU is committed to helping students prepare for future careers and a lifetime of service. Career fairs are a chance to connect with employers and consider career paths that support financial independence and professional growth. And who knows, this one event might just land you your next job or internship!

How To Participate:
  • Create your profile at handshake.byu.edu and check for upcoming fairs
  • Prep a resume and dress for the occasion
  • Show up, talk to employers, and collect a few business cards
  • Submit your participation on Traditions Keeper to complete the challenge and consider sharing a photo with us!
